Your First Week

Welcome to MercyOne! We are glad you’re here!

All new team members attend Orientation Day 1, followed by additional on-site orientation for most positions. You will be emailed your customized orientation information and next steps. Along with orientation, you’ll need to complete a few important tasks during your first week. Use this page to guide you, and please don’t hesitate to reach out to your manager with any questions.

Important Tasks

MFA is required for safely and securely accessing Trinity Health resources while working off-site. For colleagues requiring remote access, please refer to the Trinity Health Help Me Connect site and review the Mobile App Cloud MFA Setup Job Aid to setup remote access to applications through Connect Portal (i.e. Epic, Workday and Microsoft 365 including Outlook email).

For additional help, submit a service ticket through the ServiceNow Self Service Portal or call the help desk as 888-667-3003. Use the Catalog Item titled “Remote Network Access Assistance” to learn how to submit a service ticket.

You will be assigned multiple learning modules via our online platform called HealthStream. Your login information will be provided during orientation.

You have the flexibility to complete your HealthStream orientation modules at a time and pace that is convenient for you. You will be paid for the time you spend completing the online learning assignments.

For technical assistance, please contact Information Services at 1-888-667-3003.
When contacting Information Services, please identify yourself as a System Office colleague.

Your Day 1 Orientation schedule will be outlined in your “Cleared to Start” email (sent 1-3 days before start date). Please keep your first week of employment open for your training schedule provided by your new leader at Day 1 Orientation.

Once your orientation is complete, you are ready to work. You should have received instructions from your manager on where and when to report. If you did not, please reach out to your manager for assistance.
