Christina Walter, CRNA

Christina M. Walter, DNP, CRNA is an anesthesiologist at MercyOne Clinton Medical Center.

“Having surgery can be scary and I want my patients to know that my job is to make them feel safe and comfortable before the procedure,” said Christina. She encourages patients to ask questions and to share how they are feeling so she can provide the best health care possible.

Christina received both her Bachelor of Science and her Doctor of Science in Nursing from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. Her doctorate specializes in nursing anesthesia.

Christina says her favorite part of her job is improving the patient health care experience. “Working in a small community hospital really creates a family feel amongst the staff,” said Christina.

Outside of work, Christina enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
