Melissa Connelly, DNP, FNP-BC, provides care and consultation for general neurology, specializing in dementia, at MercyOne Ruan Neurology Care.
I earned my BSN and DNP-FNP at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing. Before joining MercyOne, I functioned as a nurse practitioner – working exclusively with seniors who are highly medically complex and at times near end of life.
Apart from my love of seeing patients and helping the families supporting the patients, I joined MercyOne Ruan Neurology Care to grow professionally and learn from a group of providers who are completely patient focused and dedicated to improving neurology care to all Iowans.
