Mental health is as vital to healthy living as physical health. Treatment for psychiatric disorders and addictions can help you enjoy a healthy life. MercyOne Behavioral Health offers inpatient services for both adolescent and adult patients.
In partnership with Medical Associates Clinic and Hillcrest Family Services, MercyOne Behavioral Health is the regional provider of comprehensive psychiatric services and the only full-service psychiatric facility in Dubuque.
The MercyOne Behavioral Health team is operated by a board-certified psychiatrist and is a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, social workers, occupational therapist and licensed counselors.
Treatment for our psychiatric services unit provides patients with a comforting, healing environment. Large windows provide natural light, and furnishings and warm colors create a sense of home. The unit also incorporates needed safety and security measures. A state-of-the-art call light system, motion sensor, and capability for video presence in court all add to the safety, security, and advanced technology of the unit.
Treatment for co-occurring disorders is also available for those individuals who need both psychiatric and substance abuse services.
Partial Hospitalization Program
The Program is suitable for adults over the age of 18 years. It’s expected to be a minimum 2-week commitment with daily attendance required.
