Cardiac rehabilitation
Many heart events, such as elective cardiac catheterization with stent placement, myocardial infarctions and open-heart surgeries (bypass and valve replacement) require follow-up care through cardiac rehabilitation – a personalized exercise program and education on nutrition, medications and improved lifestyle. And thanks to the Phase II services offered right here at MercyOne Dyersville Medical Center, you no longer have to travel to other facilities for this important level of care in your recovery.
