This interactive, comprehensive single session in-person class provides the basics of the labor and birthing experience from pre labor signs to early labor, active labor, transition, pushing and delivery of baby in Spanish, taught by a certified childbirth educator and birth doula.Thursdays at 5:30-8 p.m.
You will interact with families in our small and engaging classroom environment to think through evidence-based research. Our instructors will introduce you to some relaxation techniques and comfort measures including breathing, massage and positioning. An optional tour of the MercyOne birthing suites is included during the conclusion of the course. You will leave this class feeling confident in designing your desired birth plan.
