About MercyOne Genesis
Genesis Health System became part of MercyOne and has officially rebranded as MercyOne Genesis.
In 1869, the predecessors of MercyOne Genesis gave birth to the third community hospital west of the Mississippi in Davenport, Iowa. More than 150 years later, we continue to grow, building relationships with generations of families, contributing to the community, broadening services throughout the Quad Cities region, and bringing new heights of excellence in health care. In 2023, Genesis Health System became part of MercyOne and in 2024 officially rebranded as MercyOne Genesis.
MercyOne Genesis serves a 17-county bi-state region of the Quad Cities (Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa, and Rock Island and Moline, Ill.) metropolitan area and the surrounding communities of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. But when it comes to clinical capabilities and quality, we exceed those geographical limits. We have earned distinction as a two-time national Top 15 Health System, and recognition for being in the top 1 percent in the nation for patient safety.
Meanwhile, as we grow, we never forget our mission to deliver compassionate, quality health services to all those in need. Over time, that has transcended into a very personal bond with the communities we serve.
