Pregnancy care

At MercyOne, we understand that having a baby is one of life's most significant journeys! From the moment you find out you are expecting, to the arrival of your baby and beyond, we are here to support you every step of the way. And, you always have 24/7 access to free prenatal care through our “all things baby in one easy to use app” YoMingo® Maternity App. This app offers you access to education anytime, anywhere and features tools and support you need such as kick counter, contraction timer, feeding log and more. It’s also available in 18 languages.

Labor and delivery

As our patient, you will go through labor and delivery exclusively in our family-centered MercyOne Clinton Birth Center. With care and support from experienced obstetricians, family medicine residents as well as our advanced trained nursing staff, you will receive a safe, personalized care experience.

When to choose your baby’s doctor

It’s good to start looking for your baby’s doctor three months prior to your due date.  MercyOne has both Primary Care Providers who take care of your whole family and Pediatricians specialize in care for newborns to adolescents.  We invite you to contact us about finding the best provider for your health care needs.

Breastfeeding

Looking for education and information regarding breastfeeding and/or pumping? We are here to help! Our clinic has certified lactation consultants and resources available, including a free breastfeeding education class. We can assist with many challenges or questions that may come with breastfeeding, including but not limited to:

• Clogged ducts
• Develop a feeding plan that works for you and your baby
• Difficulty latching and improving your baby’s latch
• Engorgement
• Increase, decrease or maintain your milk supply
