Dr. Mandsager started Perinatal Center of Iowa, LLC, in 1993. Born in Cameroon (a country located in west-central Africa), he was raised in Marshalltown, Iowa, and attended Wartburg College. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed his OB-Gyn residency in Columbia, Mo., before spending four years in the U.S. Air Force. Dr. Mandsager completed a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is currently board-certified in obstetrics-gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine.
