Jason Picconi, MD, PhD, specializes in Maternal and Fetal Medicine and Clinical Genetics and Genomics at the MercyOne Perinatal Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
Dr Picconi recently moved back to Iowa after practicing in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for several years. He began his medical education at the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, where he earned both his MD and PhD. Following graduation, he pursued his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Detroit Medical Center / Wayne State University program in Detroit, Michigan.
After residency, Dr Picconi completed a combined fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Clinical Genetics and Genomics at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
