About

Dr. Viet H. Le specializes in surgical oncology with the MercyOne Surgical Group and MercyOne Richard Deming Cancer Center in Des Moines, IA. 

He received his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine and has been in practice for over 10 years. He specializes in gastrointestinal cancer, soft tissue tumor, hepatobiliary malignancy and minimally invasive surgery. His public health interests are in community oncology care models, patient outcome research, and healthcare operational evaluation. 

He currently is an assistant clinical professor with the MercyOne surgical residency and is an affiliated faculty with Creighton University School of Medicine.
