Emily Merfeld, MD, is a radiation oncologist at MercyOne Radiation Oncology in Des Moines. She also provides cancer care at MercyOne Richard Deming Cancer Center – Clive.
She and other cancer specialists work together to personalize patient care. “When you or your loved one receive a cancer diagnosis, it’s normal to have a lot of questions,” Emily said. “I want to help you understand your diagnosis. Together, we will decide what treatment approach is right for you, as we discuss your goals and what is important to you,” she said.
Emily earned her medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis. She completed a radiation oncology residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Emily is happy to provide expert cancer care in her hometown of Des Moines.
