We partner with referring physicians to help optimize the outcomes of pregnant women in central Iowa. Apart from the office in Des Moines, our physicians travel across Iowa to help bring expert care closer to patients. The Perinatal Center of Iowa team consists of:
- Maternal-fetal medicine board-certified and board-eligible physicians
- Advanced practice clinicians
- Registered ultrasonographers
Services that PCI offers include:
- High-risk case management, including delivery
- Pre-conceptual evaluation
- Consultative service regarding antepartum and intrapartum management
- Ultrasound
- Prenatal testing
- Genetic counseling
- Advanced treatments
Referral process
To refer a patient to us for any service, please call (515) 643-6888 or toll-free (877) 415-7447. To further facilitate this process, we have put together a new Referral for Services form. Our goal with this form is two-fold – we not only want to make sure that we aren’t duplicating services that you are comfortable and capable of providing, but we also want to make sure we don’t miss a service you are requesting. As such, you will notice that this form has sections for both ultrasound examinations and consultative services. Please contact our office with any questions.
