What is MyMercyClinton?
MyMercyClinton is an online tool that allows you to manage your health care 24 hours a day, seven days a week, when it's most convenient to you. It enables you to view information about your health.
Is there a fee to use MyMercyClinton?
My MyMercyClinton is a free service offered to our patients.
How do I sign up?
Patients who wish to participate will be issued a MyMercyClinton invitation during their clinic or hospital visit. This invitation will enable you to login and create your own user ID and password. You will be asked to provide your email address to complete this process.
How do I claim my invitation?
An invitation will be sent to the email address you gave during sign up. Once you have received the email, follow the directions on the screen. The step by step process will allow you verify your identity by answering a challenge question and entering your date of birth. You will then be guided through the process to build your own username and password.
When can I see my test results in MyMercyClinton?
Your test results will be viewable in the patient portal immediately after the results are entered into your health record. The following test results are currently not available to view in MyMercyClinton: Tests indicating Sexually Transmitted Diseases, HIV, Hepatitis Serologies, Pregnancy Test, and tumor markers.
Why are certain test results not shared electronically via MyMercyClinton?
Tests of a very sensitive nature are not released to MyMercyClinton.
Can I enter my own personal health information in the MyMercyClinton?
Yes. Under Account Settings, select "change settings with Cerner Health," and select the Health Record tab to add your personal information. This information is for your own reference and will not be part of your hospital medical record. You may share this self-entered information by selecting "Share This Record." To return to MyMercyClinton, click on "Return to MyMercyClinton."
Can I view a family member's health record in MyMercyClinton?
You can now access the medical records of a loved one in order to help manage their care.
To access your medical records, both you and your proxy must create new accounts with MyMercyClinton and then establish your proxy relationship.
To create your new account you must:
- Verify your identity by entering your legal first name, legal last name and date of birth.
- Verify your email address and set up a username and password.
- Select three security questions. Be sure to supply answers that are not easy for others to guess or discover.
- If your first name, last name and date of birth used for registration matches an existing patient record, a screen will prompt you to send for a PIN to your phone and this will let you enter it online to verify your identity.
- Once your identity is verified, you'll be able to access your patient record.
Once you have created your MyMercyClinton accounts, you can establish a proxy relationship by:
- Obtaining the proxy's user ID.
- Going into the proxy dashboard in your MyMercyClinton account.
- Select the Grant Proxy Access button
- Asking for proxy access and submitting the proxy's user ID. This will send a notification to the proxy and allowing them to accept this request.
I forgot my password. What should I do?
Click the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in page to reset your password online. You may also call 1-800-637-2999 to request a new, secure password.
Is MyMercyClinton secure?
We take great care to ensure your health information is kept private and secure. Access to information is controlled through secure invitation process, personal IDs and passwords. Each person controls their password, and the account cannot be accessed without that password. Furthermore, MyMercyClinton uses the latest 128-bit SSL encryption technology with no caching to automatically encrypt your session with MyMercyClinton.
What is your Privacy Policy?
MyMercyClinton is owned and operated by MercyOne Clinton Medical Center and Cerner Corporation. It is fully compliant with federal and state laws pertaining to your privacy. Your name and e-mail address will be treated with the same care and privacy given your health records and will never be sold or leased by MyMercyClinton.
I was logged out of MyMercyClinton, what happened?
We aim to protect your privacy and security of your information. While logged into MyMercyClinton, if your keyboard remains idle for 15 minutes or more, you will be automatically logged out of MyMercyClinton. We recommend that you log out of your MyMercyClinton session if you need to leave your computer for even a short period of time.
What do I need to use MyMercyClinton?
You need access to a computer connected to the Internet and an up-to-date browser (such as Internet Explorer).
What type of apps can I link my health record to?
You can connect and pull in data from your health record to the applications listed below if you choose. Please check back here for the most recent list of apps available.

These apps give you the ability to view some of your medical record (or someone else's records, where you have proxy rights) on an app or website other than your patient portal.
If you don’t see your app on the above list, please let us know if there’s an additional app you would like to see.
How do I connect my medical record to an app?
To access your record through one of these apps (or someone else's where you have proxy rights) you must first create a patient portal account that is linked to MyMercyClinton.If you do not have access, please sign up by creating an account by using the Patient Portal page.
