The decision to pursue a career in Interventional Cardiology became quite clear at an early age. I saw them visibly, and often drastically, affect the lives of their patients. What I love most about my job is applying what we know from scientific evidence to treat each patient based on his or her background, values and needs. I love teaching and passing on what I have learned, which brought me to Mason City. I not only get to train future cardiologists but also serve a large community and make a difference in my patients' lives.
