Amira Seemann is a PA-C specializing in family medicine at MercyOne Indianola Family Medicine.
“Living and working in Indianola allows me to make a difference in my community and their health care needs,” said Amira. “I serve each unique individual. I appreciate the thought-provoking challenges we face together.”
Amira received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University. She received her Certification of Physician Assistants by the National Commission with interests in preventive screenings and patient education.
“I chose MercyOne because of our impact on the communities we serve,” said Amira. “I knew I wanted to be part of a network of providers with different backgrounds and services, so my patients could feel confident about their care options, including primary care, specialty care or inpatient needs.”
Amira was born and raised in Des Moines. She never ventured far, attending Iowa State University and then Des Moines University. She enjoys volunteering with her local church and at the community free clinic in Indianola. Her hobbies include traveling, camping and anything crafting and creative.
