Anis U. Ansari, MD, is a board-certified physician in internal medicine and nephrology at MercyOne Clinton Medical Center Health Plaza.
“Growing up, my mother was sick often and she spent a lot of time in the hospital and I knew if I was a physician, I could help her. Knowing my services could have helped alleviate some of her sufferings is what motivated me to become a physician and provide care for others,” said Anis. “Having health care issues can be frustrating and at MercyOne we personalize our care so we can help you better manage your health.”
Anis earned a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Illinois and medical degree from Cebu Doctor's College of Medicine from Cebu City in the Philippines. Anis has 30 years of experience practicing medicine and has provided health care to the Clinton community for 24 years.
Outside of work, Anis enjoys writing medical and religious articles, reading history and participating in hospital activities.
