Dr. Andersen has been a pediatric physician at MercyOne since 2008. Prior to practicing in Ankeny, Dr. Andersen practiced in rural Wisconsin from 1997-2008 when his family moved to Des Moines to be closer to family. He enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors as much as possible.
Dr. Andersen grew up in rural New York, 250 miles from New York City. He went to undergraduate school at the University of Rochester and attended medical school at the University of Michigan before completing his residency in Syracuse, N.Y., at the S.U.N.Y Upstate Medical Center.
