Originally from Springfield, Illinois, I attended Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois for my undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry and Spanish. I completed my medical school at Des Moines University in Iowa. I then completed my intern year of Family Medicine residency at MercyOne in downtown Des Moines. I transferred to Tulsa, Oklahoma to be closer to family and finished my Family Medicine residency at Oklahoma University Health Science Center. We have since moved back to Iowa and are happy to be home.
When I’m not taking care of my patients and their families, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dog, traveling, reading, and cooking.
