Gregory Foote, DPM, AACFAS, is a podiatrist at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center.
Gregory’s interest in medicine started because his mother was a nurse. He saw her caring for people and helping them get back to living their best lives.
“My mother was a nurse, and if anyone was ever scraped or had sickness, she would always put us back together,” said Gregory. “I wanted to be able to care for other people like her.”
Gregory received his bachelor’s degree from University of Iowa and his doctor of podiatric medicine from Temple University. He completed his residency at the University of Florida and a fellowship at the Orthopedic Center of Florida Foot and Ankle Fellowship. Gregory’s medical interests include lower sports injuries, flat foot reconstruction, arthritic conditions and minimally invasive surgery.
“I’m allowed to give back to our community and help people have access to quality medical care,” said Gregory.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, playing sports and enjoy the Hawkeyes.
