After helping care for a family member who was diagnosed with cancer, Heidi Smith knew that cancer care was how she wanted to spend the rest of career. She went back to school after being a nurse for 18 years and became an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP). She feels blessed to be able to help cancer patients and their families navigate their cancer diagnosis and treatments. Heidi also feels fortunate that patients allow her to be on this journey with them. She looks forward to being able to make an impact for the people she serves.
