Irmela Salihovic, ARNP, is a nurse practitioner in cardiology at MercyOne Waterloo Heart Care.

Irmela received her bachelor’s in nursing from Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa and nurse practitioner degree from Allen College in Waterloo, Iowa.
“MercyOne feels like home,” said Irmela. “I initially started my nursing career at MercyOne and gained my passion for cardiology here.”
In her free time, she enjoys doing activities such as crafts or reading with her two daughters and husband.
