She completed medical school at the University of Michigan and Internal Medicine residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Goerbig-Campbell completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Medicine and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant at the University Of Iowa Carver College Of Medicine. She is board certified in cardiovascular diseases, advanced heart failure, and transplant cardiology.
Dr. Goerbig-Campbell is married to Dr. Dwayne Campbell, electrophysiologist at the Iowa Heart Center. They have four boys and two cats together. They love to watch movies, go hiking in the mountains or spend time in Jamaica, where Dr. Campbell grew up. Spending time together as a family whenever possible. She have a big vegetable garden and loves to try and grow new things each year.
