I chose speech pathology as my career due to the fact I needed to go to speech therapy as a child. As a speech pathologist, I want to help others be able to talk and eat, which are two of my favorite things to do! I find it very rewarding to help children improve their abilities to play and communicate. I have been fortunate to work at an organization that allows me to do that. Working at MercyOne, I have had the opportunity to work with colleagues and patients I truly enjoy. I have been blessed with the best job ever!
