Jordan Vander Ploeg, PA-C, is a physician assistant at MercyOne North Iowa Heart Center.
“I have always loved surgery and I worked as a surgical technologist in Des Moines prior to becoming a physician assistant,” said Jordan. “I’m passionate about routine checkups and screenings. I don’t want you to wait until you’re very sick or in a lot of pain to get a checkup. Together we can prevent a more severe diagnosis later on.”
Jordan received her physician assistant degree from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa.
Outside of work I love spending time with my family and friends and being outdoors.
