Kelsey Scavo, DPT, C/NDT, is a board certified pediatric clinical specialist at MercyOne Riverside Rehabilitation.
Dr. Scavo is passionate about helping children and their families participate in the activities they enjoy by learning new skills and using adaptive technology.
"I grew up in West Des Moines. I am a University of Northern Iowa alum. After attending UNI, I received my Doctoral in Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa. I am a Board Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist with the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. I am also certified in Neurodevelopmental Treatment in the Management of Children with Cerebral Palsy and other Neuromuscular Disorders.
I love working with children and families at MercyOne Riverside Rehabilitation. I enjoy helping children with their adaptive mobility devices so they can better access their homes and communities. Seeing them grow and make progress during the course of physical therapy treatment is exciting."
