Kylie Johnson, DNP, FNP-C, is a cardiothoracic surgery provider at MercyOne Iowa Heart Center.
“What I enjoy most about my job is being able to watch you grow as a patient, progressing through the cardiothoracic surgery process. From waiting for surgery, through postoperative recovery and then seeing you post-discharge being able to do activities you never thought possible – it’s the most rewarding part of the job,” said Kylie.
Kylie received her nursing degree from Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa.
“Providing expert cardiovascular care to all of our patients truly is a team effort and this team is one of the best,” said Kylie.
