LaDawna Myrmo, MSN, CNM, provides women’s health care at MercyOne Waterloo OB/GYN. She also delivers babies as a certified nurse midwife at MercyOne Waterloo Birth Center. LaDawna enjoys caring for women as they move through stages of life.
“It’s my privilege to follow you from adolescence to motherhood. I love caring for the members of my community and have even had the privilege of delivering siblings in the same family,” LaDawna said. “I have a strong passion for empowering, educating and supporting women like you.”
LaDawna earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Cincinnati, with a specialty in midwifery care. That means she is skilled in gynecology services like preventive health screenings. LaDawna also offers OB services, including prenatal care and low-risk baby deliveries. She helps families bond with their new babies, and for women who choose to breastfeed, LaDawna helps them succeed.
LaDawna is a mother of seven children. They keep her busy with activities and performances outside of work.
