Nicole Low, BSN, RN, IBCLC is an international board-certified lactation consultant at MercyOne North Iowa Birth Center.

“I am passionate about preparing you to care for yourself and your newborn through the early postpartum period,” said Nicole. “Education can be  empowering for new parents, and I love teaching about the amazing benefits of breastfeeding so you can feel confident about going home with your baby.”

Nicole received their bachelor’s degree from Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa. She is an international board-certified lactation consultant, and her clinical interests include pediatrics, neonatal-perinatal medicine, maternal and fetal medicine.

“The best part of my job is being there for new moms when they feel overwhelmed or exhausted by feeding their newborn,” Nicole said. “I can offer techniques and education to help you feel more comfortable and confident about caring for the newest member of your family. Many people look forward to holding the baby when a newborn arrives, but I get to be there for you at this exciting time in your life when you also need caring support.”
