About

Raquel Hoffman, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist at MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center. 


“I always wanted to work in health care because I like helping people and making meaningful, lasting change in your life,” said Raquel. “I am passionate about helping people and I promise to do everything in my power to help you reach your health care goals.” 

Raquel received her bachelor’s degree at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois and her master’s degree in speech-language pathology at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. 

She is passionate about swallowing therapy and head/neck cancer and specializes in dysphagia, aphasia, dysarthria and cognitive therapy. 

Outside of work, Raquel enjoys spending time with family, cycling, yoga, hiking and playing board games.
