I had three visits to Dr. Kane before being sent to the wound clinic. The three bills from Mercy for Dr. Kanes visits all arrived after the fourth visit that included the wound clinic. Had i known that these office visits were going to be medical coded as Out Patient Hospital Procedures, and I would be liable for $300 per visit, I would have never have gone.
