Dr. Maurice specializes in all areas of plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery. After receiving his medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Maurice completed a residency in General Surgery, followed by fellowship training in both Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and fellowship training in Craniofacial Surgery. Following training, Dr. Maurice founded MercyOne Plastic Surgery, to bring his expertise to the Central Iowa region.
He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeon and is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has also authored multiple journal articles and book chapters on various plastic surgery topics.
His individualized approach to plastic surgery helps each patient make educated decisions designed to achieve their desired outcomes. He feels that the best compliment he gets as a plastic surgeon is the many referrals he receives from his satisfied clients.
