Sarah Hyler, PT, DPT is a physical therapist at MercyOne Ankeny Physical Therapy. As a physical therapist, her focus is assisting patients in their journey to recovering from injuries or disabilities, helping them to embrace life with the highest level of functional ability possible.
“I love engaging with people from different backgrounds,” said Sarah. “It’s amazing to get to know people and help them get back to doing what is meaningful for them.”
Sarah received her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology and Health from Iowa State University. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Des Moines University in 2020. She moved back to Des Moines after practicing outpatient PT for two years in Iowa City.
“I grew up in Urbandale and just moved back to the Des Moines area in 2022,” said Sarah. “I am so excited to be practicing in the area and to the people I grew up with.”
Outside of work, she enjoys canoeing, camping, playing with her yellow lab, Maverick, and participating in her local Pheasant Forever chapter.
