Susan Peterson, MA, CCC-SLP, is a speech therapist at MercyOne. She’s been making a difference in patients’ lives since 2017.
Susan completed her Master of Arts degree in Speech Language Pathology at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, South Dakota.
“I really enjoy working with children. Being able to intervene early to make a difference can be truly rewarding. I’m especially passionate about working with pediatric speech and language disorders.”
Susan says she loves working in the medical outpatient setting.
“MercyOne gives me the opportunity to help patients attain their communication goals. For many of us, it’s something we do every day. But communication can be hard for some children and seeing them become successful in that, is really rewarding.”
Susan is also passionate about early intervention for late talkers, speech sound disorders and articulation and phonological disorders.
