“Becoming a nurse practitioner has always been my goal as I wanted to be able to create a bigger difference in patients lives. I began my career in 2017 as a nurse with MercyOne in pediatrics and obstetrics, where I truly fell in love with this population of patients. Caring for women throughout their pregnancy and continuing to care for their children and them after their pregnancy allows for us to create a good rapport and develop a trusting relationship. I want my patients and their families to feel like they are being treated as someone in my own family and feel they can fully trust the care they are receiving. I can not only provide care for women and their children, but I can go a step further and provider lactation support as one of the few lactation counselors at MercyOne in Clinton.

“My favorite thing about my job is getting to make a difference in patients lives and developing a relationship with them. Working in women's health and pediatrics, I love getting to watch families be created and then continue to watch their families and children grow.
