He graduated from Creighton University and then went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Iowa. Dr. Halbur completed his residency at Siouxland Medical Education Foundation and is Board certified by the American Academy of Family Practice. He started his career with MercyOne in August 1996.
Dr. Halbur is passionate about family medicine because he enjoys the relationships he can form with his patients. His work in comprehensive primary care includes general medicine, gynecology, pediatrics and geriatrics. He has practiced in Sioux City for over 25 years and has raised five children with his wife Johanna.
