Jackson Laurion Butterfly Memorial
Jackson's tree is a memorial for babies born at MercyOne Clinton and became angels in heaven.
It is displayed in the lobby of the north campus and made possible by Levi and Jessica Laurion and their families, as a loving tribute to their son, Jackson Rhys Laurion. Jackson was stillborn on March 4, 2014, at MercyOne Clinton Medical Center. This memorial was created to remember him and other babies who have left us too soon.
"The tree symbolizes the arms of each parent as we let our babies go to heaven," said Jessica. The display is inscribed with the following words: "We will hold you in our hearts until we can hold you in heaven."
This is a wonderful way to honor Jackson and all of our babies who left us too soon. If you would like more information or to purchase a butterfly please contact the MercyOne Clinton Foundation at 563-244-3535.
