We can talk all day about how great our community is, but we think you should hear from people who have experienced first-hand what it's like to be a tenant of Ellen Kennedy Living Center.

Safety, security, and all the comforts of home

Ellen Kennedy Living Center provides all the comforts of home – minus the work and worry. The staff is always responsive and helpful, and the maintenance staff is superb! There's a secure entrance; indoor, secure parking; as well as neighbors across the hall and next door (we keep our eyes open for each other). We feel safe knowing staff is on duty 24 hours a day. We love the activities here, too – playing cards and bingo, and watching a variety of entertainment.

There are interesting trips to see new things, and there's a complete array of exercise equipment – plus exercise classes. Overall, our favorite things about Ellen Kennedy Living Center are the safety, security and comfort. We've lived here for 15 years, and it's been a great experience. – Mary Bertling

Worry-free living

There comes a time in life when your house is too large, the lawn is hard to mow, and the snow is too deep to shovel. That's when you're willing to make a change to make things easier, and that's why I made the move to Ellen Kennedy Living Center. I now get to watch the maintenance staff mow the yard and shovel the snow instead of having to worry about doing it myself. I like my condo very much. The view to the west is great; the sunsets are beautiful.

The staff do a great job maintaining my condo, and the various security features give me peace of mind knowing I live in a safe place. What I like most is you can pick and choose what you'd like to do. We have a library to check out books; we play dominos, euchre, shuffleboard , bingo – and in summer we have games in the courtyard.

I also enjoy the musical entertainment, and the crocheting and knitting class that meets each week. I feel at home living here. It's a beautiful, safe place, and I have made friends with many.  – Helen Johnson
