2022 MercyOne House of Mercy Game Show Gala details and contestants announced

The 2022 MercyOne House of Mercy Game Show Gala, presented by Community Choice Credit Union and produced by MercyOne Des Moines Foundation, will take place on Thursday, June 16, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and the program starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center in downtown Des Moines. COVID-19 safety measures will be in place. This year’s co-chairs are Erin Kuhl, Chief Financial Officer at the Krause Group and MercyOne Des Moines Foundation Board Member, and Hijinio Carreon, DO, Interim Chief Operating Officer at MercyOne Central Iowa and Chief Medical Executive at MercyOne.

“I am really looking forward to this year’s in-person MercyOne House of Mercy Gala Show Gala,” said Erin Kuhl. “This event supports the lifesaving and life-changing programming at MercyOne House of Mercy.”

“I am honored to serve as co-chair for this impactful event to help those served at MercyOne House of Mercy reach their sobriety goals and become self-sufficient,” said Dr. Carreon. “The funds raised during this event enable MercyOne House of Mercy to offer client-focused, evidence-based programs and treatment plans.”

Four teams represent MercyOne House of Mercy clients that encounter the following impact awareness areas: nicotine use, overdose, self-sufficiency and methamphetamine use. Contestants will engage in several rounds of an exciting game show-style game, and the team that raises the most funds will be named the champion of the 13^th annual event.
