The Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program at the MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is an ACGME accredited, three-year training program designed to provide trainees with strong clinical skills in all areas of cardiovascular medicine and to offer a research experience.

Our program participates in ERAS and the NRMP Match for recruitment — 3 slots offered yearly. Interested applicants should submit their applications through ERAS in June for positions starting July 1 the following calendar year. Applicants selected to interview will receive an invitation to schedule an interview, utilizing an online scheduling platform.

An application is considered complete when ERAS has received the following documents:

  • ERAS Common Application Form
  • Curriculum Vitae, inclusive of research involvement
  • Personal Statement
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • MSPE/Program Director
  • USMLE Transcript

Proof of current CPR and ACLS certification is required prior to starting the program.
