Rebekah Betar, DO

Rebekah Betar, DO, is a physician at MercyOne North Iowa Internal Medicine Residency.

“My goal is to understand the needs of each patient, the perspective of the family, as well as demonstrate proficiency of current data within medicine to provide compassionate and competent care,” said Rebekah. “I love science and I love helping others, so for me, becoming a physician was the best fit.”

Rebekah received her medical Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa.

“I strive for the competence, diligence and collaboration of the medical team that served my family. When I was only 12 years old my mother passed away, and I was exposed to the nature of medically complex cases and the different methods of healing,” said Rebekah.

In Rebekah’s free time, she enjoys cooking, playing guitar, working out, watching football and playing with her two cats.
