DMU Core Students Rotations

MercyOne Des Moines has a proud partnership with Des Moines University (DMU) and their medical students. Each year, 24 DO students and 3 PA students are assigned to MercyOne Des Moines to complete one year of rotations (3rd year DOs and final year PAs) Here you will have the Opportunity to work alongside physicians, residents, nurses, and administrative staff to give the best care possible to every patient. During your core rotations, you will attend weekly didactics with the pathway you are on. During these educational sessions, you will attend Morbidity & Mortality conference, Grand Rounds, Journal Club, and discuss many other topics related to quality of patient care and what providers encounterIn the healthcare setting.
