Women Investing in Skiff Health (W.I.S.H.)

MeryOne Newton Medical Center realizes that our community is filled with women who want to help make a difference, but whose family and work obligations have their calendars full to bursting.

That’s why we offer Women Investing in Skiff Health (W.I.S.H.).

W.I.S.H., is a philanthropic group that shares a vision of a community effort to improve local health care.  Since its inception in 2006, the group has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to support projects at MercyOne Newton Medical Center. 

What does it take to be a member of W.I.S.H.? Surprisingly little. Just your financial assistance of $250, your ideas and – only four times annually – your time.

To recognize and reward you for generosity, you will be our guest at quarterly social gathering sessions where physicians and other health-care professionals will address current issues in medicine and community health. You will have a voice in directing the use of the funds W.I.S.H. raises.
