Med-Fit
Medically-based wellness classes are designed to serve persons with physical and/or mental medical conditions, optimizing client’s health and well-being in a wellness setting.
The Med-Fit program provides a continuum of care for clients following rehab and therapy services, pre-and post-surgical patients, and those individuals with a medical condition looking for greater quality of life. All Med-Fit classes are held at MercyOne Rehabilitation & Wellness Center, 2204 Kimball Avenue in Waterloo. Participants must complete a 30 minute consultation before beginning a class. To schedule a consultation, or for more information, please call 319-272-1755.
What we do...
Each individual has a personal program built to meet their specific needs and goals as well as work around any restrictions they may have. Our staff is able to measure and monitor blood sugar levels, oxygen levels, blood pressure, weight, Body Mass Index, and pain levels. This ensures individual programs are safe and effective. We also offer unique educational components to individual programs. Participants are guided through their specially designed programs and progress is charted.
