Early developmental intervention: Families who have a child with a developmental delay or disability can face many challenges. The MercyOne early developmental intervention (EDI) program recognizes these challenges and has pediatric-trained professionals dedicated to help each child communicate, play, learn and live life to the fullest. EDI is a family-centered program. Parents and other family members are welcome to attend treatment sessions and are taught exercises and activities to work on with their child at home. Family support is important to help each child do their best.
