Physical Therapy

Research has proven physical therapy helps a variety of pelvic diagnoses, including incontinence or pelvic pain after childbirth, aging or illness. At MercyOne, we have a multi-disciplinary approach to women's health physical therapy to ensure you get the care you need. Our physical therapists work with your primary care provider, midwife and/or OB/GYN, along with a behavioral health provider and/or pain management to provide the best, most comprehensive care. We’re here to help with bladder leakage and urinary incontinence through pelvic floor therapy and rehabilitation.

Bone Density

Women are at a higher risk of osteoporosis and the risk increases as women age. MercyOne provides the most accurate test available for detecting osteoporosis and other bone diseases. The DEXA (dual-energy x-ray absorpitometry) scan takes about 10 to 15 minutes and measures the bone loss in your hips and spine. The DEXA scan is similar to having a standard x-ray with only a very small amount of radiation being used.
