In addition to clinical experiences at MercyOne North Iowa East Campus, all students rotate through several North Iowa area hospitals and clinics including:

Rotations will generally be made 6 weeks in advance. The student is responsible for transportation and attendance as scheduled.

The second year, the student continues to sharpen his/her skills. After passing competency, the student performs examinations with indirect supervision. This allows the student to perform independently, yet still have a resource immediately available if needed.

In addition, the student will rotate through the speciality areas of MercyOne’s Imaging Department: Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Radiation Oncology, CT, MRI, Mammography, Interventional Radiography, and Cardiac Cath Lab. These rotations are observation only and are intended as an overview of the modality.
