Employee Relief
For more than 25 years, the Employee Relief Fund has helped hundreds of MercyOne Des Moines colleagues in their hour of need. Examples of distributions from this past year include team members whose homes were damaged in a tornado as well as assisting a colleague coping with the unexpected expenses when their daughter passed unexpectedly. Last year, Employee Relief was the most popular fund with 174 colleague donors raising more than $38,800. Our colleagues are our greatest asset, and our MercyOne Des Moines family is here to support each other. In the last five years, MercyOne Des Moines has awarded more than $245,000 to colleagues in their time of need. Gifts to Employee Relief will directly benefit colleagues who need it most.
