Simulation Lab Project
For more than 40 years, MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center’s care teams have relied on simulation to train nurses, patient care technicians, residents and physicians, enabling them to act in real-time life-saving scenarios with the utmost precision, safety and coordination. A simulation lab is designed to provide an immersive learning experience which enhances overall patient care.
Donations to the Simulation Lab Project will create a central, state-of-the-art simulation lab designed to provide an immersive learning experience for our colleagues to provide the highest level of patient care and safety. You can support the Simulation Lab Project through this year’s Annual Campaign. This needed update will increase patient, nurse, and unit satisfaction and enhance patient safety through hands-on simulation training.
