Anna Lorence, MD

Dr. Anna Lorence, MD. joined Dubuque Emergency Physicians in 2009. “I had no ties to the Dubuque area but feel fortunate that I was able to find a truly democratic group in a great community.” Dr. Lorence finished her Emergency Medicine residency at UIHC after graduating from KU Medical School in Kansas City, KS. She brings a background in EMS as a former flight paramedic, urban EMS field supervisor, and EMS educator. She serves as medical director to the Asbury Fire Dept. “I love spending time in the woods, foraging wild edibles, kayaking, camping, and taking motorcycle trips with my husband whenever I can.”
